Thon Hotel Horten offers several room categories, ranging from single and double rooms to spacious Superior rooms accommodating up to four guests. Double rooms are available with either a double bed or twin beds. Queen rooms feature a smaller 140 cm double bed, while Superior rooms provide additional space and the option of a sofa bed.

Some rooms are located in a separate building approximately 20 metres from the main hotel. These include the single rooms and Queen rooms. Room facilities include TVs, desks and kettles. Room sizes and amenities vary, so check the 
individual descriptions before booking.

Breakfast and Restaurant Baltzer
A breakfast buffet is included in your stay and served every morning, with a selection of hot and cold breakfast dishes. Restaurant Baltzer is located beside Horten guest harbour and serves lunch and dinner. It also offers facilities for private dining, celebrations and events.
The hotel has a bar and lounge areas where guests can relax after exploring Horten.

Thon Hotel Horten is a convenient base for discovering the town on foot. The ferry terminal is just a short walk away, along with shops, restaurants and the harbour promenade. Visit Karljohansvern, the historic naval district where you will find the Royal Norwegian Navy Museum and Preus Museum. The area also offers green spaces and coastal walking paths.

Horten is a useful starting point for exploring the coastline towards Åsgårdstrand.

Thon Hotel Horten plans to open a new extension in spring 2027, increasing its capacity from 88 to 186 guest rooms. The extension is planned to include new suites overlooking the Oslofjord. Until the extension opens, the existing room selection applies when booking.
