Float Sauna is located right by the sea at Granholmen in Sandefjord. The electrically heated sauna is ready when you arrive, so you can settle straight into the warmth, enjoy views of the fjord and cool off with a refreshing dip in the sea.
A comfortable sauna by the sea
The sauna has its own changing room, adjustable temperature controls and a Bluetooth sound system, so you can play your own music. There's no need to bring firewood or light the stove.
Private or shared sauna
Book the entire sauna for your group, or reserve one or more places in a shared session alongside other guests. The sauna accommodates up to 12 people, depending on the booking.

Plan your visit
Float Sauna is located at Granholmveien 75 in Sandefjord. Advance booking is required, and sessions normally last two hours. Choose your preferred time and pay by Vipps or card. After booking, you'll receive an email confirmation with an access code to the sauna. Check availability, prices and book with Float Sauna.
What to bring
- Swimwear and a towel to sit on
- Drinking water
- An extra towel for swimming, if needed
Important to know
- Bookings normally last two hours.
- You must be at least 18 to book. Children may attend with an adult.
- Only use fresh water on the stove, adding a little at a time.
- Leave shoes outside and always sit on a towel.
- Food is not permitted. Alcohol is not allowed during shared sessions. Private sessions have a limit of two units.
- Leave the sauna if you feel dizzy, nauseous or uncomfortably hot.
- Always have someone with you when swimming in the sea.
- Clean up and leave at the end of your session.
