Ramberg School is furnished as a school museum so you can experience an old-fashioned school day in Norway.
At this school a Norwegian author Olav Duun was a teacher from 1908 – 1927, and his family lived in the first years at the second floor in an apartment.
Ramberg school is the oldest of five school buildings that the then Botne municipality built between 1893 and 1902. The school was originally located near Tvillingbro north of Holmestrand. The school here was in operation until 1952, and was then moved to Reidvintunet in the second half of the 1990s.
The other buildings are Nøtnes barn, Kåre Holt's poetry room, Stabburet and Gapahuken.
In the yard you can visit the herb garden and the perennial garden. The area is close to Møllerdammen.
Reidvin-tunet is run and developed today by the Association Reidvin-tunet, established in 1995.
